Trees are priced by the number of light strands needed. Each strand contains 74 individual lights:

Important: Setup takes just as long as takedown. Mini lights wrap around branches and trunks, requiring labor-intensive wrapping and unwrapping. Large trees may need special equipment like aerial lifts or specialized ladder setups, significantly increasing professional installation costs.
Why Tree Wrapping Costs More
Tree wrapping is detailed ladder work. The quote accounts for setup, safe access, even spacing, testing, takedown, and the equipment required for taller trees.

Roof Steepness
Steep roofs cost more, especially tile, cedar, metal, or specialty roofs. These are difficult to walk on and often have to be done entirely from a ladder, requiring extra time and safety measures.
Roof Complexity
The number of jumper wires and connections needed affects installation complexity. More jumpers mean more time and labor to properly set up your lighting system.
